Tackle Football (Fall League)

*Age is based on the calendar year. For example, any player that turns 10 this year is considered a 10-year-old.

The Vancouver Trojans tackle football programs begin in June and is offered for players between 10 to 18-year-olds. The Trojans compete against other 12-man or 9-man football teams against other teams in the Lower Mainland. The Vancouver Trojans tackle football divisions starts at Peewee (ages 10-11), Junior Bantam (ages 12-13), Bantam (ages 14-15) up to and including Midget (ages 16-18) are made up of 18 to 30 players. Click here to register for our fall football programs. The season will wrap up early November with playoffs starting in early November ending with a Championship game near the end. Practices are held at Renfrew Park every Tuesday and Thursday evenings during both the summer and fall months.

All Stars Juvenile Football League (AJFL)

The All Stars Juvenile Football League is a full contact Canadian rules football league which runs form March to late May. Helmed by BC Lions legend, Grey Cup champion and ex-Trojan Cory Philpot the AJFL provides an opportunity for young men aged 17 to 23 to participate in funded post-high school football that otherwise would not be available. The goal of the league is to foster community involvement and yield a positive environment by teaching discipline, perseverance and cooperation. Learn More

Introduction to Football (5-8 year olds)

This non-contact flag football program is designed to introduce football to children aged 5 to 8 and runs Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings at Renfrew Park in July and August. The focus is on having fun while learning football basics and playing an informal game of flag.

Flag Football (Fall League 6-7 year olds & Atom Flag)

The Trojans Fall flag football program is offered to players between 6 and 9 years old. The team for 6 and 7 year olds is a continuation of our Introduction to Football program. The team for 8 and 9 year-olds (Atom Flag) is a new addition for the 2014 season. Both teams practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Renfrew Park starting in the summer. Games will be on Sundays between Labour Day and mid-November.

Flag Football (Spring League)

The Vancouver Trojans Spring flag football program runs from late March to early June. This program is non-contact and is open to players aged 8 to 18 year-olds. Practices are held at Renfrew Park every Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting in late March. Games are played on Sundays, running for five weeks beginning in late April and held throughout the Lower Mainland.
